European or French cloud: why we say "Europe"
We host in France, but we talk about "European cloud". This is not a marketing detail: here is the logic, and where France remains the proof.
You will notice that we say "sovereign European cloud" even though our datacenters are French. This choice is deliberate — and fully assumed.
Why "European"
- The market, first: digital sovereignty is a European issue (GDPR, NIS2, the drive for autonomy). Saying "Europe" means addressing 450 million people, not just one country.
- Trust: an operator from another EU country may hesitate at a message that is too "French-centred". Europe is common ground.
Where France remains the proof
We dilute nothing: France is our concrete proof, not just our slogan.
- Datacenters: OVH Gravelines, Scaleway Paris — in France.
- Certifications: SecNumCloud, HDS — French labels among the most demanding in Europe.
In summary
"Europe" for reach and trust, "France" for proof. The two reinforce each other: we sell European sovereignty, demonstrated by French guarantees among the strongest on the continent.
